What browser are you using? If it’s Chrome, you will want to take note.
Google first revealed on its site earlier this week a string of 25 vulnerabilities that have been discovered in the last two weeks — seven of them listed as ‘High’ level threats. Linux, macOS, and Windows users are all affected. Fixes can be found here.
Yesterday, it acknowledged Chrome has run into further trouble after numerous reports from users that the new version (96) breaks access to major sites like Instagram, Twitter, Discord, and more, according to Forbes. Users receive the message: “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” When pages reload, they are often missing key elements like images, embedded videos and pages even render in the wrong color.
Google posted the following: “Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix. We will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third-party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.”#Browser
